Lesson Title:Â His Kingdom Has Come
đź“…Â Date:Â January 4, 2026
đź“–Â Texts:
•Psalm 103:19 – “The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.”
•Luke 12:32 – “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
•Matthew 6:9–10 – “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
•Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
I. THE STANDARD OF HEAVEN
“As it is in heaven” defines the standard. Heaven is the reference point.
In Heaven:
•God’s will is fully known
•God’s word is immediately obeyed
•God’s authority is uncontested
•God’s order is undisturbed
•God’s purposes are perfectly fulfilled
Prayer = “Reveal what already is — and bring it here.”
II. THE REALM OF COMPLETED WILL
•Heaven is alignment — not resistance.
•Jesus taught us to pray: “Thy will be done” (not created) on earth.
•God’s will is already finished in heaven; it must be revealed and enforced on earth.
Jesus Sends Us → John 20:21
We become the answer to what we pray.
III. HE BUILDS THROUGH SONS, NOT STRUCTURES
Matthew 16:18 – “I will build My church…”
•Build (Greek: oikodomeō / Hebrew: banah)
→ To build a house of sons
→ Hebrew letters: Bet (house) + Nun (seed) + Hey (breath/revelation)
POINT: Building = God’s breath fills the house and seed, forming sons who carry divine revelation.
IV. KEYS OF THE KINGDOM = GOVERNMENTAL TRANSFER
Matthew 16:19 – “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven…”
•Authority to bind and loose = legal rulings in rabbinic Judaism
•Jesus exposed corrupt religious authority (Matthew 16)
•Authority is granted on revelation, not title
Jesus is giving interpretive authority to His church.
V. WHAT IS INTERPRETIVE AUTHORITY?
•Not rewriting Scripture or personal doctrine
•It is the right to discern, declare, and apply God’s will in real-life situations
•Heaven decides first
•Earth discerns and declares
•Authority enforces
Examples:
•Forgiveness → John 20:23
•Casting out demons → Interpreting heaven’s will and enforcing it
VI. REVELATION IS UNDER ATTACK
Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
Hebrew Breakdown:
•Destroyed (damah): Silenced, cut off, undone
•Lack (bəliy): Absence of what’s essential
•Knowledge (daʿat): Intimate, covenant knowing of God
Consequences of Lack of Knowledge:
1.Dismantles identity
2.Paralyzes purpose
3.Mutes prophetic voice
4.Disempowers generational influence
VII. DECONSTRUCTIONISM: A MODERN WARFARE STRATEGY
•Postmodern philosophy → infiltrated church culture
•Appears thoughtful, but promotes relativism
•Redefines God, Scripture, and truth through personal feelings or offense
Point:
Deconstructionism mimics hunger for truth but avoids surrender to it.
Genesis 3: “Did God really say?”
Romans 1:21–25 – Trading truth for a lie → self-worship
VIII. WHERE THERE IS NO REVELATION…
Proverbs 29:18 – “Where there is no vision, the people perish…”
Hebrew Breakdown:
•Vision (chazon): Prophetic revelation
•Perish (paraʿ): Cast off restraint, become lawless
•Law (torah): Instruction, direction from God
Point:
Without revelation, the people become ungoverned and misaligned with Heaven.
IX. WHY HELL FEARS REVELATION
Hebrews 3:10 – “They have not known My ways…”
•Yada / Ginōskō: Relational, covenant knowledge
•The enemy seeks to harden hearts and silence seeking
•Isaiah 43:22 – “You have been weary of Me, O Israel.”
When revelation is cut off, so is alignment with Heaven.
X. OUR WARFARE IS OVER REVELATION
Daniel 10:12 – “From the first day you set your heart to understand…”
•Understanding = bin (Hebrew) → spiritual discernment
•Revelation brings authority and movement
•Catalysts shift culture, not adapt to it
XI. FINAL DECLARATION
Matthew 16:19
Luke 12:32 – “It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom!”
Remember, Interpretive Authority means:
•We discern Heaven’s will
•We declare what Heaven has said
•We enforce what Heaven has established
It is:
•Functional, not hierarchical
•Relational, not institutional
•Servant-based, not controlling
